Recreating An Accurate Springfield in ‘The Simpsons: Tapped Out’ – Part 3

Moe’s

Moe’s is one of the most regularly featured buildings in the show and since early days it has probably been one of the most consistent in look. That’s not saying much; for one sometimes it has a car park and sometimes not.
What is very debatable though, is what it is located near.

Without a doubt, next door is King Toot’s, and next to that a hotel, but beyond that is anyone’s guess.

Usually across the street are more stores, but we have also seen it opposite the Church and even on Evergreen Terrace.

In one episode, we find that directly behind the bar is a Daycare with outside play area.

Tips and Tricks
Moe likes to race old washers and dryers, so maybe chuck a few his way along with some other salvage.

Luigi’s

Luigi’s presents one of the many problems with the official Springfield layout.
It seems that most stores of interest are located on street corners, with their left side on the road. (Like Moe’s above)

In your town, you probably have a limited amount of left hand corners and too many buildings to put on them. You’ll have to figure that one out.

Nuclear Power Plant

The Power Plant where Homer works hasn’t changed much over the years either, but like Moe’s it’s whereabouts in relation to other buildings changes a lot.
Usually on the edge of town, a little bit distanced from everything else, sometimes it has appeared to be central and once even backing on to the Simpson home.
It more often than not has a river running by. This is pretty important, else where would Blinky come from?

Strangely it’s in show design does not match the buildings offered in Tapped Out, so you’ll have to compromise a bit.

It will take up a large chunk of space and a fair bit of it will be boring car park.

The Aztec Theatre

The most regularly seen movie theatre in Springfield, despite their being plenty of others, is a rare right hand corner building to save come woes.

It has a clear alleyway next to it (where teens sneak in the back for free entry). It seems next to that is a pawn shop (currently not in game). Opposite is an open area.

It also seems apparent that the theatre is located just off of the main town square, though exactly where seems to change.
